Sivaganga assembly polls 2026: TVK’s Kulandhai Rani A wins

In a multi-corner contest in Sivaganga (Assembly Constituency 186), Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) candidate Kulandhai Rani A secured a significant victory after all 31 rounds of EVM counting. Kulandhai Rani polled 73,737 votes, winning by a margin of 15,081 votes over her nearest rival. All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) candidate Senthilnathan PR finished second with 58,656 votes, while Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) nominee Karunaas S came third with 57,300 votes.
