NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Friday took note of the alarming rise in dog bites incidents within institutional areas and ordered institutions like railway station, bus stand, hospitals be made free from stray dogs.A bench of justices Vikram Nath, Sandeep Mehta and NV Anjaria directed authorities to launch a joint drive team to catch stray cattle from roads and put them in shelter homes and be taken care of.
The top court also directed the states and National Highway Authority to remove stray cattles from national highways, state highways and roads.(This is a developing story)
