Kunar informed RS that till 31.12.2025, more than 21. lakh suspect identifier data received from banks and 26.5 lakh ‘layer 1’ mule accounts had been shared with the participating entities of the registry and transactions worth over Rs 9055 crore, declined. He further said the ‘samanvaya’ platform — which serves as a management information system, data repository and a coordination platform for law enforcement agencies (LEAs) for cybercrime — and the module ‘pratibimb’, which maps the location of cyber criminals and their infrastructure — have together led to the arrest of 20,853 accused and 1,35,074 cyber investigation assistance requests. The Central govt has also undertaken a new initiative to register e-FIRs in cyber fraud cases. An ‘e-FIR’ system for filing FIRs in cybercrime cases has been implemented in Delhi, Rajasthan, Chandigarh, Madhya Pradesh and Goa, the minister stated.
