PUNE: The opposition in Maharashtra on Friday questioned why Ajit Pawar’s son, Parth Pawar, had not been named in the FIRs related to the Pune land transfer, and sought the deputy CM’s resignation, reports Anurag Bende. The opposition asked why Digvijay Patil, who has 1% share in Amadea Enterprises LLP, which is linked to the alleged transfer of 40 acres of land for Rs 300 crore, has been named an accused but not Parth, who holds 99% shares. Vijay Wadettiwar of Congress and Ambadas Danve of Sena UBT said the inquiry should be led by a HC judge. They also demanded that Ajit step down and all persons involved in the deal, including Parth, be named in the FIR.
