NEW DELHI: RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s wife and former Bihar CM Rabri Devi asked Rouse Avenue Courts here to shift four alleged IRCTC scam-linked cases away from special judge Vishal Gogne, accusing him of conducting proceedings “with a premeditated mind with a sole aim to convict”, reports Vineet Upadhyay.Rabri’s application, filed before the principal district and sessions judge, seeks transfer of all four matters in which she is an accused: the alleged IRCTC hotel tender scam, an alleged cash-for-jobs case, and related money-laundering proceedings.Rabri Devi claimed she will not receive a fair trial under Gogne, alleging he was “disproportionately inclined in favour of the prosecution” and that his approach has undermined judicial neutrality. According to her, withholding rulings on these filings deprived the accused of the right to appeal.
