ASI misleading court by 'shifting stands' in Bhojshala case, HC told

Indore: The Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh high court hearing the Bhojshala-Kamal Maula mosque case was told Monday that the stand of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) on the religious character of the disputed monument has been inconsistent in submissions made in different petitions over time, reports Salil Mekaad. Apperaing on behalf of a group of interveners, senior advocate Shobha Menon said: “ASI cannot mislead this court under any circumstances… The other day you say it is not a mosque, then you say it is not a temple…”
