Young Malayalam scriptwriter Praful Suresh passes away

Acclaimed scriptwriter Praful, celebrated for his work on ‘Nalla Nilavulla Rathri,’ has tragically passed away at the age of 39 due to a heart attack. His debut film, a gripping thriller, garnered significant attention in Mollywood. Praful was reportedly working on new projects before his untimely demise. The film fraternity mourns his loss.

Scriptwriter Praful, best known for his work in ‘Nalla Nilavulla Rathri’, passed away, following a heart attack. He was 39. He breathed his last on January 13, as reported by Manorama News. Praful Suresh is survived by his wife, Anuroopa. According to the screenwriter’s Facebook profile, he got married in August 2024. After his debut film, Praful Suresh was reportedly working on two different screenplays. The final rites were reportedly done at his residence on Tuesday, January 13, at 8:30 pm.A native of Vythiri, Wayanad, Praful Suresh grabbed the attention of movie buffs in Mollywood with his film ‘Nalla Nilavulla Rathri’. A thriller, ‘Nalla Nilavulla Rathri’ is directed by Murphy Devasy. The film revolved around six friends, who set out on a trip to Shimoga. As the friends arrive at their destination, they are welcomed by bizarre events, which unveil their true identities. Actors Chemban Vinod Jose, Baburaj, Sai Kumar, Binu Pappu, Jinu Joseph, Ganapathi S. Poduval, Rony David Raj, Sajin Cherukayil, and Nithin George play crucial roles in the film. The film fraternity has offered prayers and extended condolences to the family.
