‘Wicked For Good’: Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo's bid adieus to the land of Oz with an emotional post, ‘Words are not enough’

The final chapter of ‘Wicked’ has made it to the big screens. ‘Wicked: For Good,’ the last leaf from the land of Oz, starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, has been released, and with it, the leading stars have bid adieu to the magical world. The witches have put down their hats and have set the spells aside; Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande have penned heartfelt goodbye notes, and it has left the audience emotional.

Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo say goodbye to Wicked

Actress-singer Ariana Grande shared a series of unseen BTS pictures from the sets of the movie. Along with the same, she wrote, “Thank you, my sweet Glinda, for everything. I will love you always … ‘Wicked: For Good’ is out now.” Reacting to the post, a fan wrote, “So immensely proud of you. Forever and ever. There will always be Glinda The Good.” Another comment read, “I sobbed the entire time, thank you for giving us the best movie ever.” Further, another internet user called Ariana, “our glinda forever.” “Like watching a beautiful dream, love you beyond words,” wrote a fan.On the other hand, Cynthia Erivo also celebrated her character Elphaba. In a lengthy Instagram post, she wrote, “I could write you an essay, a poem, Shakespearean prose, to describe what this journey has meant to me, what lessons this time has taught me, bought me. I could try to give a metric to the love I have felt and experienced. I could give a number to the stories I have heard. The truth is the numbers are too small and the words are not enough. So I’ll simply say this.” “Take my hand and walk with me to the end of this road paved with gold, and hopefully, the things that I’ve found might find you too. Thank you for letting me be your Elphaba. All my love, C,” she concluded. An impressed fan wrote a lengthy comment reacting to the actress’s post. “Dear Cynthia, I’ve always been a lover of musicals, and I’ve always had a soft spot for the character of Elphaba. I’ve seen performances by many iconic Elphabas, and I’ll never forget them. Then the movie came out, and your performance completely bewitched me! Your Elphaba touched my heart so deeply that just seeing your face — those glasses, those freckles — moved me to tears. You embodied the character so authentically and made us all feel a little less alone.I’m not very good with words, but I love doing cosplay, and until now, I had only cosplayed as the great Carrie Fisher’s Princess Leia. Now there’s you. Thank you,” read the comment.
