The intimate ceremony, attended by a small group of guests, follows months of rumored closeness between the two, who have collaborated on popular series. This marks a new chapter for Samantha, whose previous marriage ended in 2021.

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu and The Family Man director Raj Nidimoru both got married at the Linga Bhairavi Temple at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore early this morning (December 1). The South actress’ wedding news created a stir in the film industry today. It has been reported that the wedding took place in the presence of a small number of guests. As soon as the reports about the wedding started to spread like wildfire, Samantha shared wedding pictures on her Instagram page to confirm with the short and sweet caption “01.12.2025”. Samantha appeared in a red saree at this intimate event, while Raj Nidimoru was seen in a white and sandal shewani. The wedding was said to be attended by around 30 people. With rumors of the two’s closeness increasing since early 2024, this wedding announcement has surprised the film industry and fans.

Samantha and Raj Nidimoru’s long-rumoured closeness

In 2024, Samantha shared pictures with Raj Nidimoru on social media, and romance rumors quickly spread when the two were spotted together at the World Pickleball League tournament in February. At the same time, although his manager denied it as just a ‘rumor’, today’s wedding news has brought that denial back into controversy. One of the factors that fans have consistently noticed is the closeness between the two, having worked together on series like ‘The Family Man 2’ and ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’.

Who is Raj Nidimoru?

Raj Nidimoru, who hails from Tirupati, studied at SVU Engineering College and later moved to the United States. Leaving behind a career in the tech industry, he worked with T.K. in films like ’99’, ‘Shor in the City’, ‘Cinema Bandi’, ‘Unpaused’, and successful series like ‘The Family Man’, ‘Farzi’, and ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’, earning him accolades. He is considered to have a talent for creating sharp character-centric stories and has a unique place in the OTT world. It is noteworthy that his marriage to his ex-wife, Shyamali De, broke up in 2022.

Samantha’s second marriage sparks mixed reactions

This is also considered a new chapter in Samantha’s life. She married Naga Chaitanya in 2017, and the two announced their separation in 2021. Samantha doesn’t seem to be making any quick decisions in her personal life after the breakup. But the recent announcement of Samantha getting married to Raj Nidimoru has sparked mixed reactions among fans.
