In a poignant turn of events, actress Celina Jaitly is grappling with emotional turmoil after her ex-husband, Peter Haag, prevents her from communicating with their three children, even though an Austrian court granted joint custody. Jaitly claims that Haag is not only hindering her rights but also swaying their children’s opinions to foster alienation.

Celina Jaitly has opened up about not being allowed to meet her three children even after having a joint custody order from the Austrian family court. The former Bollywood actress is currently involved in an ongoing divorce battle with her ex-husband, Peter Haag. The actress dropped a post on her social media in which she shared that her separation from her sons is heartbreaking. She accused the other side of interfering with her communication rights. Who is Peter Haag?

Peter Haag is an Austrian businessman and hotelier. He and Celina Jaitly got married in the year 2011 after the actress moved to Austria. The duo shares three sons, Winston, Viraaj, and Arthur.Based in Europe, Peter served the divorce papers to the actress on their 15th wedding anniversary in September 2025. The actress has expressed that this hurtful gesture took a toll on her.

As per the reports, an Austrian family court has granted the couple joint custody of their children. However, Celina shared that she was denied access to her kids after leaving Austria in 2025. She posted on her social media, “Despite joint custody & a subsisting order of the Austrian Family Court, I am presently DENIED ANY COMMUNICATION with my 3 children & I am heartbroken!”The actress also added that her kids are being influenced against her through negative narratives. At the end of her emotional note, she added, “HEREAFTER, I REPEATEDLY & LEGALLY SOUGHT AN AMICABLE SEPARATION IN GOOD FAITH, PRIORITIZING ONLY THE WELFARE OF THE CHILDREN. THESE EFFORTS WERE MET WITH DEMANDS RELATING TO MY PREMARITAL ASSETS & UNREASONABLE CONDITIONS INTENDED TO STRIP ME OF MY FREEDOM & DIGNITY EVEN AFTER DIVORCE.Overnight, I was required to justify my role as a mother, as a parent, despite being their mother & the primary caregiver to my children. My entire world was snatched from me in one moment.” Meanwhile, apart from this, the actress is also fighting a legal battle to gain access to her brother, who is an ex-military man, detained in the middle east.
