Ajay Devgn is one of the most celebrated actors of Bollywood. Be it the famous bike stunt or making us laugh with his comic timing, he has done it all. He never fails to entertain his fans through his movies. Though he was the son of the famous action director Veeru Devgan, Ajay had to go through the entire training process before becoming an actor. Ajay Devgn debuted with the film ‘Phool Aur Kaante’. This action romance movie was a commercial hit, making him capture the spotlight.

Ajay Devgn’s first day of shoot

While we all saw the refined outcome of the hard work Ajay and his father put into making the film, there are always stories behind the curtain that help inspire us to achieve what we dream of. In a rare throwback interview with Lehre Retro, the actor shared the struggles he faced while shooting his debut movie. When asked if he was nervous while shooting, Ajay said, “I used to hear that people get nervous while shooting for their debut movie and doing things in infront of the camera, but I was nervous because I was not nervous as expected since it was my debut.”When asked to share any memorable experiences about ‘Phool Aur Kaante’, Ajay shared a heart-touching moment during the movie’s premiere. He shared that he went to watch the movie in the theater, and he sat in the first row. And when the song ‘college ki ladhki’ screened, the audience started throwing money, and one of the coins hit his head; he then took that coin and framed it. Such an experience for his debut film would always stay close to his heart, he said.

Ajay Devgn’s training before debut

While Ajay had a father who was also a legendary action director, people generally make judgments about star kids getting privileges. He used to get up at 6 (that was really tough though), there was a special gym for his training,” he said. The stunt from ‘Phool Aur Kaante’ has not only defined Ajay Devgn’s career but is also loved by his fans Since then, he has recreated this iconic split entry in various films, including those in the ‘Golmaal’ series and other films featuring bikes, cars, and even horses.
