Akshay Kumar’s ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ has achieved a major milestone at the Indian box office, crossing the coveted Rs 100 crore net mark during its second weekend. The film managed to cross the milestone, despite facing fresh competition from Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s spy thriller ‘Alpha’.

According to early estimates on Sacnilk, the comedy entertainer collected Rs 9.75 crore net on Day 10 across 6,099 shows. The film reportedly registered a 30 per cent jump over Saturday’s collection of Rs 7.50 crore. With Sunday’s earnings, the film’s total India net collection has now climbed to an estimated Rs 114.90 crore, while its India gross collection now stands at Rs 136.80 crore.

Akshay Kumar achieves another box office milestone

The latest success marks another significant achievement for Akshay Kumar, as ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ has become his 21st film to cross the Rs 100 crore net mark at the Indian box office.The film also extends the actor’s impressive recent run, becoming his fourth consecutive Rs 100 crore net grosser and seventh film in the post-pandemic era.

Second weekend slowdown amid ‘Alpha’ release

‘Welcome To The Jungle’ wrapped up its first week with an estimated Rs 93.15 crore net in India before entering its second weekend.While the film continued to attract audiences, its second weekend collections were noticeably lower than its opening weekend. Daily collections ranged between Rs 4.50 crore and Rs 9.75 crore, with the film falling just short of double-digit weekend earnings. Trade observers linked this slowdown to the arrival of ‘Alpha’, which emerged as a major draw at multiplexes. The YRF Spy Universe film collected an estimated Rs 34 crore net during its opening weekend, with its India gross collection reaching Rs 40.80 crore.

Worldwide box office haul

Internationally, ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ has continued to post steady numbers. The film earned an estimated Rs 1 crore overseas on Day 10, taking its overseas gross collection to Rs 29.95 crore. Combined with its domestic earnings of Rs 136.80 crore, the film’s worldwide gross collection has now reached an estimated Rs 166.75 crore, comprising:
