Aamir Khan’s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ and ‘Coolie’

Before this, Aamir made headlines for his movie ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, co-starring Genelia Deshmukh. The movie is a Hindi remake of the Spanish film ‘Campeones’. After its theatrical release, the actor decided to go with the ‘pay-per-view’ model instead of releasing OTT. He made the film available on YouTube, and viewers have to pay Rs 100 to watch the film.Not just that, he also rocked the news for his special appearance in Rajinikanth’s ‘Coolie’. Speaking about the same, Aamir shared that the moment he got to know director Lokesh Kanagaraj offered him the film featuring Rajinikanth, he accepted it. The Bollywood star revealed that after a lot of years, he accepted a movie without reading the script. The film was released in theaters on August 14, 2025. The film clashed with the Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR starrer ‘War 2’.
