Rapper Vedan marries Navami Latha; Simple ceremony at home - Watch video

Rapper Vedan, also known as Hirandas Murali, and writer Navami Latha celebrated their union in a unique, home-based ceremony. The couple’s marriage registration, held at Vedan’s residence, symbolically centered around the Indian Constitution. The low-key event, attended by close family and friends, was later publicly announced at a Kannur festival, drawing widespread congratulations from fans.

Rapper Vedan aka Hirandas Murali married writer Navami Latha in a simple, home-based ceremony that placed the Constitution of India at its symbolic centre.As reported by Mathrubhumi, the couple registered their marriage at Vedan’s residence, Pearl Fome, in Mullankunnathukavu with only close relatives and a handful of dear friends present. The Chembukkavu Sub‑Registrar Office official arrived at the home to oversee the registration keeping the event low-key and personal.

Family participation and wedding rituals

The formalities were completed in the presence of witnesses chosen from both families. Reportedly Vedan’s brother Hari, his sister-in-law, his second brother Naveen and activist Shyamkumar signed the wedding documents. Relatives of the bride reached the Mullankunnathukavu home around 4 p.m.The couple maintained their original plan of keeping the rituals restricted to close family and tightly knit circles. The reception was arranged at a resort in Poomala, with only limited guests invited.Watch the video here Navami wore a blue saree, while Vedan opted for a black kurta and mundu. The rapper hails from Peringandoor while the bride is from Manjeri. Ahead of the wedding Navami shared pictures from their bachelor party on Instagram.

Public reveal at Kannur event

The wedding news surfaced publicly when M. V. Govindan announced it on stage during a musical event. The reveal occurred at the Happiness Fest held in Kannur as part of Local Self-Government Day celebrations. After Govindan’s announcement, Vedan addressed the crowd, saying, “Just as he said, on the 24th I am going for a registered marriage. It’s my wedding.”Once the news reached the public domain, it spread rapidly across social media platforms. Supporters and fans began sending wishes, with one commenting, “Happy marriage life broo. Sister.” Another fan wrote, “Finally (love hearts),” A third one wrote, “Congrats man.” Another one wrote, “Fall in love. … Fall in love. .. Just keep on falling in love.”
