‘Vash Level 2’ Day 14: Janki’s horror film dip to just Rs 28 lakh

'Vash Level 2' box office collections Day 14: Janki Bodiwala's horror film sees collections dip to just Rs 28 lakh

After two weeks in theatres, ‘Vash Level 2’ saw a steady decline in its collections at the box office. The film that crossed the Rs 12 crore mark at the Indian box office saw a drop in numbers on its second week. The Krishnadev Yagnik directorial, led by Janki Bodiwala, Hitu Kanodia, Hiten Kumar, and Monal Gajjar, showed signs of improving its collections over its second weekend; however, numbers dipped considerably on Monday and Tuesday.

Overall performances

According to the Sacnilk, the film wrapped its first week with an impressive collection of Rs 10 crore net. However, the second week witnessed fluctuations with the movie’s single-day collections failing to cross the Rs 1 crore mark. By Monday, the film’s collections dropped to Rs 20 lakh. Tuesday saw some growth, but failed to pick up considerably, thus wrapping up its collections with an estimated Rs 28 lakh. With this, the film’s overall collections stand at Rs 12.26 crore.

Janki on her role in Vash

Speaking exclusively with Etimes, the actress discussed her challenging role in the movie. Janki said, “I truly feel humble and grateful. It feels good that the work where you put your heart and hard work reaches people and they appreciate it. I am thankful to all my ardent lovers.”Further, she added, “All thanks to our writer-director Krishnadev Yagnik. This character was stuck there for 12 years. I wanted it to be visible on my face so first I started with losing weight and went straight for a crash diet for a month. I’d say that was the most difficult part as I wasn’t eating any solid foods, I almost lost 6kgs of weight and that dullness and shrink body worked in my favour.”Looking at all the film’s impressive box office run, it seems like Janki Bodiwala’s efforts have paid off well.
