Kajol and Twinkle Khanna have wrapped up their show Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle, which offered plenty of candid revelations about Bollywood personalities, and stirred up multiple controversies along the way. In a newly released bonus episode, filmed after the main episodes were already streaming, the two hosts finally addressed the criticism that has followed them.Just as they were gearing up for an Agree and Disagree segment with cricketers Jemimah Rodrigues and Shafali Verma, Kajol joked, “Now it’s time for our next segment, which has gotten us into a lot of trouble,” before clarifying that in this segment, “opinions don’t matter as much as lighthearted teasing.” Twinkle chimed in, admitting they should have set the tone earlier. She said, “And there’s a disclaimer, which we should have had from the first episode, that nothing we say in this segment should be taken seriously. Please don’t follow any of our advice in this segment.”The backlash stems from comments made in earlier episodes when Karan Johar and Janhvi Kapoor appeared on the show. During a discussion on fidelity, Karan remarked, “Physical infidelity is not a deal breaker,” prompting Janhvi to respond, “No, the deal is broken.” Twinkle added her own generational perspective: “We’re in our 50s, she’s in her 20s, and she will get into this circle soon. She hasn’t seen the things we have seen. Raat gayi baat gayi (What’s happened, has happened).”Another moment that drew reactions came when Kajol shared her views on marriage. When asked whether marriages should come with an expiry date and the option to renew, she answered, “I definitely think so. Who says you will get married to the right person at the right time? So, you should have a renewal option. And if there’s an expiry date, then we don’t have to suffer for too long.” Twinkle, however, disagreed with this take.
