Tracy is Rob’s daughter from his first marriage to filmmaker Penny Marshall.”I came from the greatest family ever,” Tracy, 61, told NBC News. Reacting to reports that Rob and Michele were found dead at their Los Angeles home on Sunday, she said, “I don’t know what to say. I’m in shock.”

Michele and Rob Reiner’s death confirmed

News of the deaths emerged Sunday night after authorities discovered the bodies of a 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman inside the couple’s Brentwood residence, with multiple reports that they had been stabbed to death or had their throats slit. According to TMZ, the couple’s daughter, Romy discovered her parents dead, and allegedly told the police that another family member had killed them. TMZ reports that the Los Angeles Fire Department was called to the property at around 3:30 pm local time to provide medical aid.

Michele and Rob Reiner’s death case investigations

While the identities of the victims were not immediately released, the police confirmed that the death case was being investigated as a ‘suspected homicide’. Aspokesperson for the family later confirmed that the victims were indeed the director and his wife.Addressing the media in a press conference, Deputy Chief Alan S. Hamilton said the Los Angeles Police Department “is currently conducting an ongoing homicide investigation into the two deaths at Rob Reiner’s Brentwood home.”Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner were married in 1989 and shared three children together, sons Jake and Nick Reiner, and daughter Romy Reiner.

Nick Reiner charged for murder

As per the latest reports, the Los Angeles police charged the couple’s son, Nick with murder on Monday.
