Tom Morello gears up for his first India tour: ‘It really is a dream come true’

Tom Morello, the Grammy-winning guitarist is finally touring India, a moment fans have waited years to witness. The rock legend, known for his groundbreaking sound with Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, is bringing a special mix of iconic riffs, collaborative pieces, and newer songs.

His thoughts on the Indian debut and the music

Speaking about making his India debut, he said to HT “It really is a dream come true. I know that many fans there have for decades been wanting Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, Prophets of Rage, myself to come play… they’ve been waiting a long time and I’ve been waiting a long time, and it’s about to happen.”When talking about what fans can expect, he said, “You will see material from Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, Prophets of Rage, my own stuff, collaborations with Bruce Springsteen, my solo projects, and newer work. I’m looking forward to being able to rock the fans there.”

His family joins the journey

Morello shared that his family will accompany him on this tour, making the experience even more special. He said, “I’m bringing my family. I wanted them to experience it as well.” He highlighted that his son Roman, whom he described as “a spectacular shredding guitar player,” will also perform with him on stage. Morello expressed excitement about this multi-generational moment and hopes this won’t be his only visit. As he put it, “I’m so excited about coming there… I hope to come back many times.”

Tour dates and cities

The India tour, organised by BookMyShow Live, will cover three major cities. Morello will perform in Gurugram on December 17, Mumbai on December 19, and Bengaluru on December 21. Go to Source
