‘Thulluvatho Ilamai’ actor Abhinay passes away after battling liver disease, Who was Abhinay?

TRIGGER WARNING: This article contains mention of death.Tamil actor Abhinay had been seriously suffering from liver disease for the past few months and was receiving treatment in the hospital. Photos of him in poor health were released on social media a few months ago, shocking fans. He had also posted a video requesting financial assistance for his treatment. Seeing this, ‘Thulluvatho Ilamai’ co-star Dhanush expressed his heartfelt support by donating Rs. 5 lakhs. Moreover, comedian KPY Bala has also donated Rs. 1 lakh. Despite his poor health, he came to act in some new films with the determination to make a comeback in the film industry.

Abhinay passed away after months of illness

However, after battling the illness for several months, Abhinay passed away at around 4 am today (November 10), as per News 18. While attending a recent film festival, he spoke about his health and said that his health was deteriorating day by day, which worried fans. Now the news of his death has caused deep sorrow in the film industry. Abhinay’s hard work and simplicity, which will forever remain in the hearts of fans through the film ‘Thulluvatho Ilamai’, will make him memorable.

Who was Abhinay?

Actor Abhinay made his debut in the Tamil film industry in 2002 with the film ‘Thulluvatho Ilamai’ starring Dhanush, directed by Kasthuri Raja. He received a huge fan following through that film. He won the hearts of young fans with his natural acting and gentle facial expressions. Later, he acted as the hero in many films like ‘Junction’, ‘Singara Chennai’, and ‘Ponmegalai’. He also appeared in films in other languages, including Malayalam, and showcased his acting skills.

Talented dubbing artist faced hardships

Abhinay had established himself not only as an actor but also as a voice artist. He was the one who provided the background voice for Vidyut Jammwal, who played the villain in Vijay’s film ‘Thuppakki’. Similarly, he lent his voice to some of the key characters in several films, including Suriya’s ‘Anjaan’, Karthi’s ‘Baiya’, and the critically acclaimed ‘Kaaka Muttai’.
