In a past interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she revealed the best birthday gift she had ever received, and it was from Ranbir. The actor surprised her by arranging for her favourite milk cake to be flown all the way from London to Bulgaria, where she was shooting at the time.The ‘Raazi’ actress said, “The best gift I have gotten was from my husband, he was my boyfriend at that point of time. We were shooting a movie in Bulgaria and there is this particular cake that I am obsessed with in London from a cafe called Leto. It’s a milk cake.”She added on a light note, “He flew the cake down from London to Bulgaria so I could cut it on my birthday and eat it for two days! I literally did not share it, not even with him, I didn’t share it with anyone!”

Alia and Ranbir will soon be seen together in ‘Love and War’, a sweeping period romance directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film also stars Vicky Kaushal, who previously worked with Alia in ‘Raazi’.
