THIS Irrfan co-star once transferred Rs. 25 lakh under 5 mins

This actor, who worked with R Madhavan, Irrfan Khan and Ajay Devgn, once transferred Rs. 25 lakhs under five minutes to a friend

An award-winning actor who placed his worth high in the altitude with impeccable art and unmatched performance, extended his ‘supporting’ nature to his life off the screen. Without any hesitation, the 50-year-old transferred a whopping Rs. 25 lakhs to his friend in need. Call it a success story or the nature of the universe, the actor once dreamt of earning Rs. 1 lakh through his art and has now become an indelible mark in the industry, who could transfer money in five minutes.

The actor: Compassionate and unwavering

Opening up about the personality and compassion, Manu Singh Chadha recalled instances of his close friend, the actor who is known for diverse roles over the years. Citing that they were from different financial backgrounds, Chadha mentioned in a Scene Kya Hai podcast, “He was the son of a government employee, and I was the son of a shopkeeper. I always had money on me, and he rarely did.” However, the ‘Bhediya’ actor had admirable aspirations. The dream? Earning Rs. 1 lakh and considers himself successful. As the actor’s life began to change, Chadha once asked him whether he could borrow money from him. ”At that time, I barely had a rupee on me. I called him and asked, ‘Did you get your payment for the ad?’ He could have lied, but he didn’t,” Chadha said, adding that he asked Rs. 10,000 from the actor. After lending, the ‘Angrezi Medium’ actor asked whether the reason was rent. The 54-year-old firmly denied and said that he wanted luxurious shoes and clothes. Citing another incident, Chadha remembered how the ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actor transferred the whopping amount in five minutes when a mutual friend suffered liver failure. After recognising the seriousness and recalling how the friend in the hospital stood right by the ‘Sector 36’ actor during the toughest time, he came to help. “He asked, ‘How much does he need?’ I said, ‘Rs 25 lakh.’ Without hesitating, he replied, ‘I’ll pay the entire amount,” Chadha said.
