Taking to their official social media handle, the ‘Rings of Power’ page shared a first look at Charlie Vickers as Sauron, with a crown on his head. “The Dark Lord returns. Season 3 begins November 11, 2026,” read the post. Based on the world created by JRR Tolkien, ‘The Rings of Power’ is one of the most expensive TV shows ever made. With total projected costs exceeding USD 1 billion, the show is expected to have just around 5 seasons.About ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ Season 3Set thousands of years before the events of ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘The Lord of the Rings’, the series chronicles the legendary Second Age of Middle-earth, an era marked by the rise and fall of kingdoms, the forging of powerful alliances, and the growing threat of darkness. Season 3 will reportedly pick up several years after the events of Season 2 that saw Sauron battle it out with Galadriel and seemingly leave her for dead. The 8 episode series is said to unfold during the height of the war between the Elves and Sauron.
