The best and worst moments from the 2026 Actor Awards

The best and worst moments from the 2026 Actor Awards: From Harrison Ford’s speech to the ‘Hamnet’ bit that refused to end

Hollywood’s 32nd Actor Awards honored cinema’s artistry with a night of standout moments. Harrison Ford was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, while Michael B. Jordan and the cast of ‘Sinners’ claimed the top acting honors. The evening balanced heartfelt tributes with unexpected, occasionally awkward, comedic interludes, delivering a ceremony that was both dignified and entertaining.

The 2026 Actor Awards, formerly the SAG Awards, have concluded as a glamorous Hollywood night. The 32nd ceremony took place on March 1 at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California. And, certainly, the event saw several unforgettable moments, some good, while some we wished just passed by quickly!! Here are some of the best and worst moments from the 2026 Actor Awards.

Harrison Ford accepting the Lifetime Achievement Award

Accepting the Lifetime Achievement Award, Harrison Ford delivered a powerful speech. After joking that it was strange to “receive a prize for being alive” and saying that he was only at the half-point of his career, “it’s a little early, isn’t it?” Ford gave a heartfelt speech about his journey as an actor, from struggling to find his people in college to his big break in ‘Star Wars.’

Oscar Frenzy: ‘Sinners’ Breaks Records With 16 Nods | Nominees Speak Out

“I found a calling. A life in storytelling. An identity in pretending to be other people. The work I do with other actors is one of the great joys of my life,” Ford said. Ending things on a humorous note, he grabbed the award and said, “This is very encouraging.”

The ‘Hamnet’ comedy that won’t end

When Hacks stars Megan Stalter and Paul W. Downs first walked out on stage, the comedy was spot on! But when the duo said that their ‘comedic relief’ had been cut from ‘Hamnet’, and the bit kept going, everyone kept wishing that it would end as the moment got awkward.

Seth Rogen honors Catherine O’Hara

As the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series was announced, Seth Rogen went on the stage to accept the award on behalf of Catherine O’Hara for her performance in ‘The Studio.’ Rogen, who is executive producer of the show, remembered late Catherine O’Hara’s legacy and said, “She really showed that you can be a genius and be kind and one of those things does not have to come at the expense of the other in any way, shape, or form.” He also encourages everyone to watch her work.

Amy Madigan compares the Actor Awards statue to Barbie and Ken

Madigan delivered a charming speech as she picked up the Best Supporting Actress for playing the witchy Aunt Gladys in the horror mystery ‘Weapons.’ She began by trotting to the podium with her arms outstretched, recreating the movie’s memorable opening sequence. Amid her speech, she got distracted by the striking physique of the Actor Awards statue. “Let’s see, what does he have here?” Madigan said, examining the statuette. “It’s like when you were little, and you had Barbie, and then you had Ken, and you whipped off those drawers, and you said, ‘Ken has nothing!’ I never quite understood that. Anyway, I really am digressing. I apologize!”

Michael B. Jordan and ‘Sinners’ amazing win

‘Sinners’ star Michael B. Jordan won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, beating out fellow nominees Timothée Chalamet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ethan Hawke, and Jesse Plemons. The actor received a full house standing ovation. After thanking his cast, his director, and his mom for driving him back and forth to auditions as a kid, Jordan admitted, “Yeah, man, this is pretty cool.” Jordan’s joy didn’t end there; the ‘Sinners’ cast won for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

The ‘wannabe Marty Mauser’ moment

The award function had an unnecessary table tennis game. It was unnecessary because, obviously, none of the actors are professional table Tennis players! When Bell explained that she was going to force people to play table tennis throughout the evening, no one expected to actually have to watch them.

Noah Wyle is proud of ‘The Pitt’s’ cast

Medical drama ‘The Pitt’ also marked an amazing win. The cast of the show won the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, and Noah Wyle won the award for Outstanding Performance by Male Actor in a Drama Series. When the cast went to receive the award, Noah Wyle was filled with pride and said, ‘I’ll be honest and say that, of all the trophies that are out there, I was so desirous of this one for this cast just so I could share this moment right now with them,” Wyle said. “I’ve never been more proud of a group of people in my life.” Go to Source
