Delhi mein meri pehli job thi (I did my first job in Delhi). Delhi is like a second home. Toh mujhe laga ki wahan ka local flavor aana chahiye, aur jaise kehte hain alliteration, anupras alankar, toh wohi—‘Vikaspuri ke Wolverine’ mein bhi ek vibe thi (I thought a local flavor should come in, and like we say alliteration, so ‘Vikaspuri ke Wolverine’ had that kind of vibe).”Ayushmann also spoke about his camaraderie with Varun Dhawan. The Dream Girl actor shared that both he and Varun began their careers in the same year. “He’s one of the nicest guys and a very good co-actor (bohot acha co-actor hai),” Ayushmann said.

Audience response and kids’ reaction

In the same interview, Ayushmann spoke about the audience’s reception of the film and the viral scene. He said that children, in particular, are loving the visuals and overall experience of ‘Thamma’. “Especially Bhediya aur ‘Thamma’ ka jo fight hua tha (especially the fight between Bhediya and Thamma). I think those set pieces were really enjoyed by kids. Woh pehli baar hua mere saath (this has happened for the first time with me),” he added.DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers in this article are compiled from our proprietary sources and diverse public data.
