'Thaai Kizhavi' box office collections day 17: Radikaa Sarathkumar's film gross nears Rs 55 cr

Radikaa Sarathkumar’s ‘Thaai Kizhavi’ is enjoying a strong theatrical run, crossing 17 days and amassing over ₹48 crore net. The film saw a significant boost during its third weekend, with collections climbing to ₹3.71 crore on Saturday. Directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, the movie features a notable ensemble cast. Radikaa Sarathkumar’s Tamil film ‘Thaai Kizhavi’ continues its steady run at the box office. Day 15 and Day 16 collections show weekend boost

The film saw a noticeable jump during the third weekend and the collections increased after a moderate Friday performance.On Day 15 the film collected Rs 1.65 crore and the day recorded 1,073 shows with an occupancy rate of 18.9 percent.Collections improved significantly on Day 16, the third Saturday. The film earned Rs 3.71 crore with 1,093 shows and an occupancy rate of 29.5 percent.

Strong ensemble cast and direction

‘Thaai Kizhavi’ is directed by Sivakumar Murugesan and veteran actress Radikaa Sarathkumar plays the central role in the film.The movie also has Raichal Rabecca, Athadi Kumaran, Singampuli, and Munishkanth in important roles. OTT release

After its theatrical run, ‘Thaai Kizhavi’ is expected to arrive on an OTT platform soon. According to a report by 123Telugu, streaming platform JioHotstar has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights for the film. The movie is likely to stream on the platform in the last week of March 2026 and the reports suggest that the digital release could happen around March 26.However, the makers have not yet made an official announcement regarding the exact OTT release date.
