‘Tere Ishq Mein,’ the intense romantic drama starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, has been making headlines for all the right reasons right from the word go. And with its release on Friday, the movie has proved to live up to the hype. According to trade reports, this Aanand L Rai directorial, which opened with good numbers, saw an upward graph during the weekend as well, leaving the competition far behind in the race. Of late, Bollywood has seen how intense romantic tales have charmed the audience. A perfect example of the same is ‘Saiyaara,’ led by the debutant pair – Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday. Dhanush and Kriti’s ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ is similarly being welcomed with both arms open. According to Sacnilk, this film made Rs 16 crore on day 1, i.e Friday and then with a rise of over 6% it made Rs 17 crore in the domestic market on day 2. Released in Hindi and Tamil, the movie on day 3, Sunday, collected Rs. 18.75 crore, as per the early estimates. With this steady pace, ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ collected Rs 51.75 crore during its opening weekend.

‘Tere Ishk Mein’ day 3 occupancy

‘Tere Ishk Mein’ saw an overall 32.82% Hindi and 19.88% Tamil occupancy on Sunday, November 30, 2025. Breaking down the Hindi numbers first, the morning shows saw 14.32% occupancy, which soared to 38.60% in the afternoon. The highest occupancy was recorded during the evening shows – 45.63%. Then in the night, it dropped to 32.74%. For Tamil, the morning shows saw 14.19%, followed by the afternoon shows, which recorded the highest number – 24.09%. Then it was 21.50% and 19.72% in the evening and night shows, respectively.

About the film

‘Tere Ishq Mein’ follows the story of Mukti and Shankar, played by Kriti Sanon and Dhanush. It shows Mukti falling head over heels in love with a rebel man, Shankar, and just when their relationship reaches a beautiful point, unexpected circumstances separate them.
