Singer Kelly Clarkson recently made headlines after she opened up about not receiving the prizes that she was promised on ‘American Idol.’ This included a car that the star needed at the time because her own car had been in shambles by then. In response, recently, Taylor Hicks, who won season 5 of the beloved singing show, was quick to share a cheeky response to her ordeal.

Recently, while talking to Page Six, singer Taylor Hicks had a cheeky response to Clarkson’s dilemma of not receiving the prized car that was promised when she won. He shared during the interview that the singer was someone whom he truly looked up to.He stated, “I am a big fan of Kelly Clarkson and consider her one of the most incredible voices to emerge from American Idol.” Furthermore, he added a cheeky remark to his initial words while referencing the car.He added, “I would be more than happy to help her find a new Mustang.”

About Kelly Clarkson not receiving her car prize on ‘American Idol’

While featuring on a recent episode of her show, ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’, the star opened up about how she was never given the prizes that she was promised after winning. While talking to ‘Traitors’ season 4 winner Rob Rausch, who also shared how he never received the full amount, Clarkson was quick to add that she heavily relates to that. She had stated that at the time, a car was promised to her, which she really needed because the one she owned was not in working condition. However, she adds, “I literally was on the show, and they were like, ‘Oh, you win a million dollars’ or whatever. No, you didn’t. It was, like, a million dollars worth of investment in you.”
