Suriya’s ‘Karuppu’ nears Rs 304.85 crore worldwide

‘Karuppu’ Box Office Collection Day 25: Suriya and Tisha Krishnan’s action fantasy flick adds Rs 53 lakh days ahead of OTT release

Tamil superstar Suriya’s ‘Karuppu’ continues to enjoy decent numbers at the box office as the film added Rs 53 lakh on Monday since its release on May 15, 2026. Directed by RJ Balaki, the film also includes Tirsha Krishnan as the female lead.

‘Karuppu’ fourth week tally

According to trade analyst Sacnilk, on Monday it raked Rs 53 lakh on a weekday seeing a 18.8% drop from Sunday. Despite the film gearing up for its digital release soon it has collected good numbers. On the fourth Sunday it added Rs 1.75 crore, on fourth Saturday it collected Rs 1.47 crore and Rs 83 lakh on fourth Friday. The film’s occupancy on Monday comes to 19 % from where the day’s major tally comes in as it made Rs 48 lakh. Meanwhile, the Telugu version minted Rs 5 lakh with 18% occupancy.

‘Karuppu’ weekly collection numbers

On the film’s first week it made over Rs 113.85 crore, it then later added Rs 54.30 crore on second week. Wrapping up another week with good numbers, the film made Rs 21.20 crore in the third week.The film’s total India gross collections comes to Rs 224.15 crore and brings the total India net collection to Rs 193.93 crore.Additionally, on Monday the film made Rs 10 lakh in the international market and brought the total to Rs 80.70 crore. With this the worldwide collection comes at Rs 304.85 crore.Recently, the makers announced that the film is gearing up for its OTT release on June 12 in multiple languages. In Telugu, the film is released under the title, ‘Veerabhadrudu’.

About ‘Karuppu’

In the film, Suriya plays Karuppuswamy, while director RJ Balaji also appears as the antagonist Advocate Baby Kannan.
