In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Supriya Pathak was asked about her experience working on ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela’. Talking about Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, she said, “Mujhey lagta hai aaj kal bahut lovely log hain industry mein. Main hamesha yeh sochti hoon ki jo young actors hai, wo kitney hard-working hai. Jahaan bhi mujhey passion dikhta hai, mai bahut impress ho jati hu (I feel there are many lovely people in the industry these days. I always think about how hardworking the young actors are. Wherever I see passion, I get very impressed).”Pathak went on to add, “Mujhey lagtaa hai ki aisey hi log hone chahiye. Deepika aur Ranveer—dono me itna passion hai apney kaam ko lekar. Aur Ranveer ko dekh kar toh aaj bhi mujhey lagtaa hai ki woh ek bubble jaisa hai—pata hi nahi chaltaa ki usmey se kab kya nikal aayega (I feel there are many lovely people in the industry these days. I always think about how hardworking the young actors are. Wherever I see passion, I get very impressed. I believe these are the kind of people the industry should have. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh—both have so much passion for their work. And even today, when I look at Ranveer, I feel he’s like a bubble—you never know what might pop out of him next).”

In the same conversation, Supriya Pathak was asked if Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were dating while shooting ‘Ram-Leela’. To which she said, “Main in sab cheezon mein bahut dumb hoon. Mujhe zyada realize nahi hota. Main apne mein hi rehti hoon. Lekin woh dono saath mein bahut beautiful lagte hain. Aur unhone bahut khoobsurti se act kiya. Set par bhi woh bahut nice the. Toh mujhe wahi sab cheezein realise hui (I’m very dumb when it comes to these things. I don’t realize much. I mostly keep to myself. But the two of them look very beautiful together. And they acted wonderfully. Even on the set, they were very nice. So those are the things I noticed).”
