Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) account, the ‘Jai Ho’ actress slammed the comparison, urging users to stop spreading religious hate.

It began after an X (previously Twitter) user posted a clip and wrote, “Meet Daisy Shah. She has a problem with firecrackers, but she visits Iftaar parties and cooks there as well.” The actress soon dismissed the comparison and called out the troll.

Daisy Shah recently attended an Iftaar party at a restaurant, where she tried her hand at cooking Malpua. The video went viral on the internet for all the wrong reasons, as netizens called her out for slamming the irresponsible bursting of firecrackers.For the unversed, a few months ago, during the BMC elections, a fire broke out near her building after political party workers burst crackers during a campaign rally. The actress shared a video of the incident and called out the party members for being irresponsible.
