'Stranger Things: Tales From '85': All you need to know about the animated spin off

Get your flashlight, get your backpack, because it’s going to be amazing! Hawkins would be back in an animated spinoff to tell the tales between seasons 2 and 3 of ‘Stranger Things’ – taking viewers back to the eerie moon of 1985. While the concluding season of the series will begin this month, the magic of the unside down will certainly continue longer.

‘Stranger Things: Tales From ‘85,’ the eerie spin-off was announced as an animated edition of the adventure. The drama would be released on Netflix in 2026. Mentioning that reliving the cartoon from the ‘80s was one of the initial ideas, The Duffer Brothers gave the first look with the video. “With animation there’s really no limits,” Ross said, sharing the behind-the-scenes and the concept art. “Eric and his team can just go wild … and they have,” he added. Meanwhile, Robles claimed that the series will be capturing Hawkins in a new way, adding, “Get your flashlight, get your backpack, because it’s going to be amazing.”

As for the series, Hawkins’ original heroes would be encountering the new challenges and monsters, unraveling the paranormal mysteries in the town. The cast of the voice members include Brooklyn Davey Norstedt as Eleven, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max, Luca Diaz as Mike, Elisha “EJ” Williams as Lucas, Braxton Quinney as Dustin, Ben Plessala as Will, and Brett Gipson as Hopper.
