Actor-singer Maya Hawke has officially wed her musician fiance, Christian Lee Hutson in a surprise Valentine’s Day wedding.The actress, best known for her role in ‘Stranger Things’, wed the 35-year-old singer in a surprise ceremony on Saturday, 14 February. The first photos of the stunning bride and groom, making their way down the streets of New York City, dressed in their bridal attire has since gone viral online.
Maya Hawke stuns in white wedding gown
For the ceremony, Maya wore a grand white wedding dress with a sweeping train, paired with an oversized, feathery winter coat. She topped the look off with her hair tied neatly in a top-do. Hutson opted for a classic tuxedo with a white waistcoat and black bowtie. Several of Hawke’s co-stars from the hit series ‘Stranger Things’, were also in attendance. Photos and videos doing the rounds online see co-stars Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton and Joe Keery walking together across the NYC streets. The wedding comes just weeks after Maya and her ‘Stranger Things’ co-stars closed the chapter on the series with the finale airing on New Year’s day. Hawke joined the show in its third season as Robin Buckley, the co-worker and best friend of Keery’s character, Steve Harrington.
About Maya and Christian’s romance
Hawke and Hutson first met while recording music several years ago. The New York-based musician collaborated with Hawke on her 2024 album Chaos Angel. He had confirmed his engagement to the actress during an appearance on SoCal Sound Session last year.
