Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is set to receive a brand-new 4 BHK sea-facing apartment of around 2,800 sq ft in Bandra’s Carter Road as part of the redevelopment of Shree Amrit Society, where he bought his first home in Mumbai.The project, undertaken by Sri Lotus Developers and Realty Limited, is expected to launch in the first half of FY 2027 and could generate a topline of Rs 1,500–2,000 crore, according to a report in Hindustan Times. The redevelopment now ensures he gets an upgraded home with 155% additional area compared to his original apartment.“The sale units will be a mix of 4 and 5 BHKs, subject to finalisation of plans,” said Anand Pandit, CMD of Sri Lotus Developers, adding that the saleable area of the project will be 1.35 lakh sq ft.

Redevelopment detailsThe society, located on a prime one-acre sea-facing plot on Carter Road, was built in the 1980s and comprises three wings. Each member will get a rehab share of 45%, while the remaining 55% of the area will be up for sale. Sources said the developer is expected to price the new units at around Rs 1.5 lakh per sq ft.Shree Amrit Society is located just 2 km from Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments and around 3 km from Khan’s iconic Mannat bungalow at Bandra Bandstand, which is currently under renovation.For now, the actor and his family have moved into two duplexes spanning 10,500 sq ft in Puja Casa, Pali Hill, while wife Gauri Khan recently rented a 2BHK in Khar West at Rs 1.35 lakh per month for staff accommodation.
