‘SRK rolled on floor laughing’: Farah relive hilarious BTS moment

‘Shah Rukh Khan rolled on the floor laughing’: Farah Khan and Murali Sharma relive hilarious BTS moment involving a harness mishap from 'Main Hoon Na' sets

Farah Khan visited Murali Sharma-Ashwini Kalsekar’s Mumbai home for her cooking vlog, recalling a Main Hoon Naa harness mishap that left Shah Rukh Khan laughing. The couple shared their love story, showed off their all-white home, mandir flooring, and kitchen, before enjoying baingan chutney and lunch together with Farah.

Farah Khan and her cook Dilip made their way to the Mumbai home of actor couple Murali Sharma and Ashwini Kalsekar in their latest YouTube cooking vlog episode. The duo welcomed Farah with big smiles and prepared a flavorful baingan pachdi for the occasion. During the visit, Farah, the filmmaker behind ‘Main Hoon Naa’, reminisced about filming with Murali, who played Khan in the movie. She shared that he was once mistakenly left dangling in the harness, a blunder that left Shah Rukh Khan cracking up.

Looking back on their time filming the 2004 hit, Murali said, “I had to fly only till the first floor.” Farah chimed in, “At that time, harness quality was not very good and people didn’t know how to use it properly. He just had to get out of the car and Murali was hanging onto the door. Murali and door both flew up.” He continued, “These people were laughing. That was my first time on a rope. When Shah Rukh sir came, he was shown the entire shot. He rolled on the floor laughing.” His wife Ashwini laughed loudly and said, “Even when you see that shot now, he has those real scared expressions.”

The conversation then moved to the living room, where the actor couple shared the story of how their romance began with Farah. Murali and Ashwini tied the knot in 2009, having first crossed paths on the set of the 2005 film ‘Apaharan’. The pair has spoken candidly in the past about their struggles to have children of their own, citing both health issues and financial constraints. Adding a touch of humor to the vlog, Farah’s cook Dilip showed up dressed as Vasooli Bhai, the memorable character played by Mukesh Tiwari in the ‘Golmaal’ series.

A peek inside Murali Sharma and Ashwini Kalsekar’s all-white Mumbai home

Murali and Ashwini’s Mumbai home is roomy and follows an all-white theme throughout. From the walls and ceiling to the curtains, every element carried muted tones, complemented by brown couches. Their love for books was clear too, with an entire shelf in one room dedicated to a sizeable collection. Touring that same space, Ashwini pointed out her makeup corner, mentioning that she handles her own makeup for film roles. “Artists should be like her. People pay Rs 1 lakh to makeup artists. Learn something, we save so much money,” Farah expressed.

Mandir flooring, kitchen tour and lunch together

Ashwini also showed off the flooring near her mandir, which she’d designed herself using real flowers. As the vlog wrapped up, the couple took Farah through their bedroom and kitchen. The kitchen, too, had an airy feel, featuring white-finished cupboards and countertops. Once the Andhra-style baingan chutney was ready, Farah presented the couple with gifts, and then the group sat down to enjoy lunch together. Go to Source
