SRK breaks silence on not being on Kajol-Twinkle’s show

Shah Rukh Khan breaks silence on why he did not appear on Kajol, Twinkle Khanna's talk show 'Two Much': 'It is my penance that..'

Kajol and Twinkle Khanna stepped into the world of hosting a few months ago with their talk show titled ‘Two Much’. The show has been in the news for some comments which also became controversial and created a stir on the internet. The series featured an impressive lineup of celebrities—Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, among others. However, viewers kept wondering why Shah Rukh Khan never appeared on the show. Was he unavailable? Or was he not invited? Shah Rukh has now addressed the curiosity and revealed the actual reason behind his absence, while also admitting that he watched every single episode.Speaking to BBC Asian Network, Shah Rukh shared, “I am doing a film right now! I told her (Kajol). I was injured too. I felt really bad. I would have loved to have come on it, except for the food-eating part, there was so much food to eat!”Apologising once again, he added, “I am so sorry to you and to Twinkle, really. Just to let you know, I have seen all of them. It is my penance that I wasn’t on the show, so I watch all of it!”Currently, Shah Rukh is filming his new project ‘King’. A recent arm injury had briefly paused the shoot.Interestingly, even though he didn’t make it to the show, Shah Rukh and Kajol reunited in London to unveil a bronze statue inspired by their iconic pose from the classic ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’. The statue was inaugurated at Leicester Square, marking a historic moment for an Indian film. As Shah Rukh expressed, “Thrilled to unveil the bronze statue of Raj & Simran at London’s Leicester Square today, celebrating 30 years of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ)!”
