‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ trailer 2 unveiled in Amsterdam – WATCH

'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' trailer: Tom Holland and Zendaya unveil new clip in Amsterdam after leak; reveals Spidey-Punisher teamup and first look at Sadie Sink's mystery character

The cast of ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ headed to Amsterdam to unveil the film’s highly anticipated second trailer, giving fans fresh glimpses of the next chapter in Peter Parker’s story and the clearest look yet at newcomer Sadie Sink’s mysterious character.Stars Tom Holland and Zendaya, who recently confirmed their secret marriage, attended a fan event, where they played out the official trailer to an audience of screaming fans. Zendaya attended the event in an Alexander McQueen ensemble, while Holland opted for looks from Thom Browne and Louis Vuitton. The real-life couple introduced the new footage on stage, showcasing a story that sees Peter Parker struggling to control his powers while making his way through a world that has forgotten him, following the events of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. The latest footage comes after the trailer leaked online early this month, giving fans a first look at Savage Hulk, the battle with the Hand and even a first look at Scorpion. Following the release of the new clip, fans seem to be convinced that Sink could just be making her debut as Jean Grey, a character expected to play a significant role in the MCU’s evolving Mutant Saga.

The trailer features several major reveals, including a team-up between Spider-Man and the Punisher, while also finding himself being chased by a Savage Hulk variant. While seeing Peter lose control of his powers, the trailer also features tender moments between Peter, MJ and Ned, who seem to have forgotten him.

First look at Sadie Sink’s character

However, it is the arrival of new characters who appear poised to reshape the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Among the most talked-about moments from the trailer is the latest tease of Sadie Sink’s long-rumoured Marvel role. The secrecy surrounding Sink’s character has fuelled months of speculation among fans, with many theorising that the actress could be portraying Jean Grey, one of Marvel’s most powerful mutants.

Peter Parker loses control of his powers

While the film’s first trailer largely concealed Sink’s character, the newly released footage provides a much clearer look at her character and her psychic abilities. Although the character’s face remains in the dark, she is seen expanding her mind-manipulation range and bringing multiple people under her control. While she seems to be against Peter Parker, Frank Castle, aka the Punisher, appears unaffected by the psychic assault.

Mark Ruffalo debuts as Savage Hulk

The trailer also hints that Sink’s character may be responsible for unleashing Savage Hulk, potentially turning the OG Avenger against Spider-Man. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ sees Holland return as the web-slinging hero alongside Zendaya. The film also introduces a host of new faces, including Sadie Sink and Jon Bernthal, raising the stakes for what is shaping up to be one of Marvel’s biggest releases of the year. The film is set for its release on July 31 and tickets for the big premiere have already gone on sale. Go to Source
