Actress and singer Sophie Choudry is rocking the headlines after she gave a befitting reply to a troll who questioned her survival in the showbiz. The person on the internet asked the actress how she is still sustaining herself in Bollywood without featuring in any films, web shows, or songs. All of this began after Sophie dropped a picture with Jennifer Lopez from Netra Mantena and Vamsi Gadiraju’s wedding in Udaipur. Let’s take a look at what she has to say.

Sophie Choudry claps back at a troll asking her about survival in Bollywood

An X user questioned Sophie Choudry in a post that read, “Yaar Sophie, mujhe aaj tak nahi samajh mein aata how have you survived Bollywood bina kaam ke? No movies, no web show, not even as songs. We have only seen you in bits & pieces then how have you survived #bollywood?? (Yaar Sophie, I still don’t understand how you’ve survived in Bollywood without any work. No movies, no web shows, not even songs. We’ve only seen you in bits and pieces, so how have you survived in Bollywood?)”To that, Sophie replied, “Through the live show market. Been one of the busiest live singer performers for 17 years for corporate and wedding shows, am the number 1 female host for live events. Just because you don’t see me on screen doesn’t mean I haven’t made my place elsewhere.”She added, ” In India unless you are in the top 10 actresses you don’t make money . I realised that a long long time ago and thank God for that.”

Sophie Choudry responds to a troll calling her a ‘wannabe’

Another troll went on to label Sophie as a “wannabe,” adding that she might have pleaded with Jennifer Lopez to click a picture with her. Sophie addressed the post and replied, “Such a sad mentality you have. I feel sorry for you. I have never begged for anything in my life. I requested, and she kindly obliged because I was the host of the show. It’s not every day you get to meet your idol and tell them how much you admire them. But clearly you wouldn’t know what that is. Too much negativity.”
