Sonakshi slams brand for misusing her photos without consent

Sonakshi Sinha slams brand for misusing her photos without consent, urges them to keep things ethical: 'Pull down my images...'

Sonakshi Sinha is in the news for addressing unauthorized use of her photos by brands, demanding they be removed or face public exposure. Simultaneously, she shared a lighthearted video with her husband, Zaheer Iqbal, capturing their infectious laughter and playful bond. The couple, who married in June 2024, showcased their delightful chemistry, charming fans with their candid moment.

Sonakshi Sinha is making headlines for two very different reasons — one fiery and one heartwarming. While the actress fiercely called out brands for misusing her photos without permission, she also gave fans a dose of laughter with a candid video featuring her husband, Zaheer Iqbal, showcasing their fun-loving chemistry.

Calling out brands

Sonakshi Sinha called out several brands for using her photos without permission. The actress highlighted that while artists often credit labels when wearing their designs, featuring those same images on official websites crosses a line. She urged brands to act responsibly and warned she would publicly expose offenders if they don’t take her pictures down.Check out the post here:

The post read, ‘As someone who shops online often, I couldn’t help but notice my images popping up on several brand websites—without usage rights or even a courtesy request for permission. How is that acceptable? When an artist wears your outfits or jewelry, a post is made giving your brand due credit, but featuring those same images on your official website? That’s stretching it a bit too far. Let’s keep things ethical, shall we?Basically what I’m saying is pull down my images before I start calling you out.’

Candid moment with Zaheer

Sonakshi Sinha, who often charms fans with her candid side, recently shared a funny video with husband Zaheer Iqbal. In it, she struggles to keep a straight face as Zaheer keeps cracking her up, until she finally bursts out laughing. Their effortless chemistry stole the show, making the clip a fan-favourite.

Laughter over breakfast

In the clip, Sonakshi looked chic in an all-black outfit while enjoying her breakfast, with Zaheer behind the camera trying to contain his laughter. His unstoppable giggles soon proved contagious, making Sonakshi laugh despite her attempts to hide it. She playfully captioned the video with a challenge to her followers not to laugh.Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot on June 23, 2024, in an intimate ceremony at her Mumbai residence. The wedding was followed by a star-studded reception graced by Bollywood celebrities. The couple, who had kept their relationship under wraps for seven years, finally made it official with the celebrations.
