If you missed Ajay Devgn’s ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ on the big screen, the wait for its digital release is over. The film, directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, is a follow-up to the 2012 hit Son of Sardaar. The sequel sees Ajay reprising his role as Jassi. This time, Jassi travels to Scotland to patch things up with his wife but soon finds himself caught in a whirlwind of mob rivalries and a chaotic Sikh wedding. Between saving hostages and repairing his marriage, he must also tackle the cultural confusion that ensues. The film got mixed reviews but some really thought it was a laugh riot. Here’s when and where you can watch it on OTT. The film has begun streaming on Netflix from Friday, September 26 onwards. Sharing the update on Instagram, the streaming platform captioned its post, “Silencer paao puttar. Sardaar ki entry hone wali hai (Sardaar is going to make his entry, so keep silence!). Watch Son of Sardaar 2, out 26 September, on Netflix.”Alongside Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur, the ensemble cast features Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Neeru Bajwa, Deepak Dobriyal, Chunky Pandey, Kubbra Sait, Vindu Dara Singh, Mukul Dev, and Ashwini Kalsekar. Despite stiff competition from the romantic drama Saiyaara and a mixed response from critics, the film is now headed for a fresh run on OTT.The film did an average business at the box office, it collected around Rs 46.82 crore net in India. The film had clashed with ‘Dhadak 2’ at the box office as both released on the same day.
