Sivakarthikeyan on rumors of falling ill due to steroid use

Sivakarthikeyan reacts to rumors of falling ill due to steroid use for making 8 packs: ‘I just built my body’

Sivakarthikeyan, who is gearing up for the release of Madharaasi opposite Rukmini Vasanth on September 5, has addressed some bizarre rumours about his health. In a promotional interview with anchor Suma, the actor laughed off fake reports and doctored images that claimed he had fallen ill due to steroid usage. When asked if he had seen such rumors about himself on YouTube thumbnails, Sivakarthikeyan recalled how it started with Amaran. “For Amaran, they said that I did six packs first. They put a fake picture with my face and said I made eight packs, actually. I didn’t even have one pack, I just built my body,” he shared.

“They enlarged my face and said I lost health”

The actor went on to add that recently, the rumours had taken a stranger turn. “Recently, they changed it. They enlarged my face, and they wrote – he used steroids, so he lost his health. Look at how he is. I was like, ayoo,” he said, laughing at the absurdity of it all.In Amaran, Sivakarthikeyan played the late Major Mukund Varadarajan, and his physical transformation for the role had already become a talking point.
