The actor said the show’s success opened doors she never expected and connected her with audiences across generations. “It definitely opened more doors for me and literally doors to people’s homes.”She recalled how perceptions about her work shifted dramatically after the series became a phenomenon. “Earlier, people used to ask me when I would do something commercial. After ‘Mirzapur’, nobody asked that anymore.” “I remember being at the Berlin Film Festival and people there knew about ‘Mirzapur’. When your work travels beyond your own country, it feels wonderful.”Reflecting on her personal journey, Shweta spoke fondly about her parents and the unlikely path that led her to acting. “The show gave me recognition and love. My father is an IAS officer and my mother is a teacher. Nobody imagined I would become an actor.”

The boys have killed it.
