Sharad says his wife selects her own gift for Dhanteras

Sharad Kelkar calls wife Keerti ‘light of his life’; gifts her every Dhanteras that ‘she selects herself’ - Exclusive

With Diwali celebrations knocking on the doors, every household is ready to embrace the joy, the contentment, and festive vibes. ‘Tanhaji’ actor Sharad Kelkar is also all set to celebrate Diwali, and ahead of the same, he has ordered gifts for everyone, especially for his wife, Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar. In an exclusive conversation with us, when we asked the actor, on the occasion of Diwali, who he would describe as the light of his life, his instant reply was his wife, Keerti. He elaborated on how she makes his life simpler. And even when it comes to gifting, she always selects what she wants, sorting things for him.“My wife actually takes care of me and the whole family in such a way that I’m sorted in my life. Anything I want to do or I have to ask, she’s the one person I can ask, and I can be assured that, yeah, things will be done one time,” said Sharad Kelkar.

In our conversation, the ‘Sky Force’ star also told us that every year he gifts his wife something on Dhanteras, she looks forward to it, and the best part is, he is ready in advance, as she is the one who selects what she wants.“The best day is Dhanteras. What she’s looking forward to right now. And as always, she has selected something that I’m going to gift her,” he said, highlighting how gifting is sorted for this year’s festivities as well. “In that way, I’m very planned. I do things in advance. I don’t want her to wait for the last minute, and then you are running around and then you are running around. And I also keep a check on her phone, what she’s looking for,” he added.

Sharad Kelkar says Diwali is not just about family, but about friends and society

While speaking on the topic of gifting, Sharad Kelkar shared with us that he not only takes care of his family but also his staff. “The good thing is now, because I’m capable, I feel very overwhelmed and thankful to God that he made me such that I can take care of my staff also,” he said before adding, “So, I have around four or five people who are working for me day and night. So, it’s bonus time for them. They, too, get excited about the bonus, clothes, and firecrackers for the whole family. It’s a very happy and joyous time for, I think, everyone. It’s a symbol of prosperity and happiness.”“So, I try and, you know, spread whatever I can do in my capacity, I do for people who are with me for a long time. Somebody is from 20 years, somebody from 22 years, somebody from 16, 17 years. So, you know, it’s not just about you, it’s about your society, your friends, your family,” he concluded. Go to Source
