Samantha flaunts her ripped physique

Samantha Ruth Prabhu flaunts her ripped physique; slams troll for calling her ‘thin’

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has once again proved why she’s considered a fitness icon. Sharing two striking gym photos with her trainer, she flexed her sculpted back muscles and revealed how she once “pretty much gave up on ever having a strong back.” But after “intense, intense” work, she has come a long way and is now unapologetically showing off the results.“Working with a strong back felt like stepping into a space where everything instantly became warmer and easier… I genuinely thought it just wasn’t in my genes. I’d see other people with great backs and think, ‘Yeah, that’s not going to be me.’ But I was wrong… So yes, I’m going to show it off now, because the work it took to get here was intense. Like intense intense. Showing up on days when I didn’t feel like it, when nothing seemed to be changing, when it would’ve been easier to quit.”She added that strength training did far more than transform her appearance — it helped with movement, ageing, discipline, and patience.“Strength training did more for me than anything else. It taught me discipline, patience, and that ‘not in the genes’ is just an excuse we repeat until we finally prove ourselves wrong. If you’re at that point where you’re close to giving up, don’t. Your future self will be so grateful you kept going.”Not putting up with negativityUnder the post, a user commented: “One should not exercise so much that one looks thin.”Samantha didn’t let the remark slide and replied, “I’ll ask for your advice when I need it.”With that succinct and confident comeback, she shut down the criticism and reinforced her stance that fitness is a personal journey, not a body-shaming battleground. On the professional frontAlongside her fitness journey, Samantha’s professional slate is equally busy. She recently made her debut as a producer with a cameo in a horror-comedy and is currently shooting for the web series Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom with Aditya Roy Kapur. She is also set to begin work on the Telugu action film Maa Inti Bangaram. The actress recently entered film production with the horror-comedy Shubham.
