Salman Khan: ‘I have never read a script in my life’

<p> Bollywood superstar  Salman Khan may be signing on some of the biggest films in the Bollywood film industry, but according to the actor, he has done so without even reading the scripts. </p>

<p> The actor made a candid revelation about his filmmaking process, surprising all with his admission that he has ‘never read a script’. Speaking to Variety India, the actor said, “I’ve never read a script in my entire life. I’ve written them, but I’ve never read them.”Khan has in the past also indicated that he prefers to understand the <span class= script’s feel and commercial potential rather than reading a complete script. While he has previously noted skipping detailed script readings to avoid overthinking, he has admitted to writing down his own scripts or ideas.

Khan also addressed frequent conversations around the luxury watches he is often seen sporting during public appearances and events. The actor has been seen several times in the past, rocking watches with a price tag exceeding Rs 1 crore. However, Khan teased that the high-end timepieces do not actually belong to him. He said, “You see me wearing watches that don’t mean the watches are mine.” He added, “It is this friend and that friend’s watch. ..”

Salman Khan’s upcoming films

On the work front, Salman is awaiting the release of his war film ‘Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace’, which also stars Chitrangada Singh. The film, earlier titled ‘Battle of Galwan’, was slated for a release early this year. However, after postponing the date, the makers have yet to announce their new release. Meanwhile, Salman has begun work on his new project with South director Vamshi Paidipally. The actor was spotted on Friday making a rare appearance while donning a slick new clean shaven look. The film will see actress Nayanthara play the female lead. This marks the second project of the actress in Bollywood after she made her debut with Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’ in 2023.
