Following treatment and recovery, Salim Khan was discharged from the hospital in March, much to the relief of his family and well-wishers.

The actor will next headline ‘Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace’, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, with Chitrangada Singh playing a pivotal role in the film. Apart from that project, Salman is also busy filming Vamshi Paidipally’s tentatively titled ‘SVC63’.
