The veteran screenwriter was hospitalised in February following a minimal brain haemorrhage. Doctors later confirmed that a medical procedure had been carried out to stabilise his condition. Following treatment and recovery, Salim Khan was discharged from the hospital in March, much to the relief of his family and well-wishers.
