Rishab Shetty imitates Rajinikanth's signature walk in front of Amitabh Bachchan; asks Big B to say 'Agneepath' dialogue

Following the blockbuster triumph of ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’, Rishab Shetty is set to appear on the iconic game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 17’ hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. In an exciting teaser, he showcases his playful side by mimicking Rajinikanth and recounting an amusing story from his childhood that revolves around television.

Rishab Shetty is basking in the massive success of his latest release, Kantara: Chapter 1. The actor, who has been visiting various temples following his film’s blockbuster run, is set to appear on an upcoming episode of Amitabh Bachchan’s popular show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 17. The makers have released a promo of the episode, showcasing the host and actor’s candid conversation.

During the episode, an audience member points out that Rishab Shetty can perfectly imitate superstar Rajinikanth’s iconic walk. In response, Amitabh Bachchan asks the Kantara star to demonstrate the Tamil superstar’s signature style. The audience can be heard cheering and applauding Shetty in the promo.The actor also shared a childhood anecdote about how his father once brought home a TV that could receive films from various parts of India if the dish antenna was adjusted in a particular way.Shetty then turns the tables and asks Amitabh Bachchan to deliver his famous dialogue as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan from Agneepath.

Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 was released in theaters on October 2, 2025, and has been receiving immense love from audiences. Its success is reflected in the box office numbers: according to Sacnilk, the film has earned Rs 493 crore in India and Rs 681 crore worldwide.Now in its third week, the film continues to rake in big numbers. In the Hindi belt, it clashed with the Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, but the Bollywood release failed to make any dent in the box office performance of the Rishab Shetty directorial.
