Kantara star Rishab Shetty expressed disappointment over social media users mimicking Daiva rituals for viral content, emphasizing the deep spiritual significance and potential hurt to the Tulu community’s beliefs. The film’s makers also issued a statement, urging respect for the sacred tradition and discouraging its trivialization for performance or casual mimicry.

Actor Gauahar Khan, who welcomed her second son Farwaan with Zaid Darbar on September 1, 2025, recently shared a video of herself dancing Bhangra at midnight, while also responding to a troll accusing her of ‘glorifying postpartum.’

Instagram post wows fans

On Friday, Gauahar took to Instagram and shared a video of her performing Bhangra to Karan Aujla’s song, For A Reason. The actor stunned in a yellow suit as she danced her heart out. Sharing the video, Gauahar wrote, “Raat ke 12 baje , No rehearsal , but this song made me do it !!! 1 month postpartum ❤️🙋🏻‍♀️ #mombomb .”Check out the post here:

Actress hits back at troll

As soon as she shared the video, comments poured in from all sides. One user wrote. ‘Why do you need to glorify your postpartum?’. Hitting back at the troll, the actress replied, ‘Why shouldn’t I ??? Do u have a rule book ??? Pls lead ur own life by ur own rules. I do mine.’

Fans praise her performance

While her fans came out in support of the actress and praised her. While one fan wrote, ‘You are awesome. 1 month postpartum dancing was just a dream for me’, another one added, ‘Doesn’t look like you are the mother of two cuties’. A fan also commented, ‘Seeing you dance makes me so happy.’

Gauahar opens up on miscarriage

Earlier, talking to Debina Bonnerjee on her podcast, Gauahar spoke about losing her first pregnancy to a miscarriage. She shared, “I was 36 when I got married and we knew we had to try for a child soon. I had a miscarriage, and it took me 1 to 1.5 years to mentally prepare myself to try again. If I wanted another child, it was now or never.”Elaborating further, she added, “While shooting for Shiksha Mandal, I was pregnant with my first child. I was doing horse riding and heavy scenes.
