Ravi Teja’s ‘Irumudi’ release date is HERE

‘Irumudi’ release date: Ravi Teja’s upcoming film to hit the big screens on THIS date; set to clash with Nani starrer

Tollywood star Ravi Teja also known as Mass Maharaja is gearing up for his upcoming family drama, ‘Irumudi’ directed by Shiva Nirvana. Days after the makers released the first teaser, the team has now announced the release date.

Release date of ‘Irumudi’

The makers took to their official handle on X (formerly Twitter) where they shared a poster of the film and revealed the release date, “This monsoon, it is a spell of heartwarming emotions in theatres.” The film will be released in theatres on August 21, 2026.Thanking the audience for the support, the team confirmed that the film will be released in both Telugu and Tamil languages. In Tamil, the movie will be released with the title ‘Irumudikattu’.

Teaser of ‘Irumudi’

Speaking about the teaser, the 1-minute-and-24-second glimpse gives viewers a look into the emotional core of the story. Ravi Teja is seen as a caring father who shares a strong and loving bond with his daughter. Ravi Teja’s character appears imperfect but kind-hearted.The heartwarming moments between father and daughter have become one of the biggest talking points after the glimpse release.

Cast of ‘Peddi’

Apart from Ravi Teja, the film stars Priya Bhavani Shankar as his wife. Child actor Baby Nakshathra plays their daughter and is expected to have an important role in the story.The supporting cast includes Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh, Ramesh Indira, Swasika, Meesala Lakshman, Rajkumar Kasireddy, Ramana Bhargav, Kishore Kancherapalem and Karthik Adusumalli. The music for ‘Irumudi’ has been composed by GV Prakash Kumar.

A box office clash?

Interestingly, August 21 is also the release date currently announced for Nani’s much-awaited film ‘The Paradise’. This has raised discussions about a possible box-office clash between the two movies.However, recent reports suggest that ‘The Paradise’ could face another postponement. If that happens, both films may avoid releasing on the same day.
