About ‘Chennai Love Story’

Directed by Ravi Namburii, ‘Chennai Love Story’ centres on Niveditha (Sri Gouri Priya), whose life changes after a traumatic incident leaves her emotionally withdrawn.Reviewing the film, ETimes wrote, “Visually, Chennai Love Story mirrors its emotional journey. The cinematography captures Chennai with warmth and intimacy, avoiding postcard-like visuals in favour of lived-in streets, cafés and everyday spaces that make the city feel like an active participant in the story. The changing visual palette subtly reflects the emotional transformation of the characters, moving from emotional isolation towards hope. Mani Sharma’s music deserves special mention. Rather than overpowering scenes the songs flow naturally through the narrative, while the background score gently amplifies the emotional undercurrents. Several key moments gain their impact as much from the music as from the performances, making the soundtrack one of the film’s strongest assets.”DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and the data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
