‘Ranveer feels like a different person after Dhurandhar,’ reveals Manav Gohil

'Ranveer Singh feels like a different person after Dhurandhar,' reveals Manav Gohil, says, 'Deepika Padukone is a wise woman'

Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ have proved to be historic, be it at the box office or just the impact all over. It’s been 20 days since the release of the sequel and the film is still the talk of the town. While Ranveer Singh got accolades for his performance in films like ‘Bajirao Mastani’, ‘Padmaavat’, ’83’ among others, the ‘Dhurandhar’ franchise put him in a different category all together. In a recent interview, his co-star from the film has revealed that Ranveer comes across as a different person all together after the film. Many have also pointed out a shift in his overall demeanour, with some speculating that the controversy surrounding ‘Kantara’ ahead of the first ‘Dhurandhar’ may have played a role in this change. His co-star Manav Gohil shared his perspective on this transformation. He said in an interview with Hindi Rush, “I think Ranveer is currently in a very important phase of his life, he is in transition. He has become a father and the face of one of the most historic films. He is already a superstar and a great actor—he deserves everything he has today. I’m sure there is a larger plan behind his choices. If you notice, his clothes, his media presence—everything has changed. His demeanour has evolved. He’s now seen in more structured, well-tailored looks. He feels like a different person.”When asked about the Kantara controversy, Manav added, “Ranveer isn’t just a superstar in India, but globally. I’m sure he has become more responsible in handling his stardom. There are people guiding these decisions, and Deepika Padukone herself is a very wise woman.”Meanwhile, ‘Dhurandhar’ proved to be a box office juggernaut, collecting around Rs 1300 crore worldwide and Rs 1000 crore net in India. It has become the first Hindi film to cross that mark in India.
